This is most definitely an open blog, nothing is assigned. We have discussed about maybe have themes for posts during certain periods, but that would still be left open to volunteers who want to contribute, and even that was merely a thought. We had a stake president several years ago who was so OCD about this distinction that we couldn't ask for volunteers to give closing prayers in sunday school classes. Weird.
